1. What is included with the vehicle?

2. Is there any extra cost for additional drivers and kilometres?
No, all vehicles include unlimited kms & no charge for additional drivers.
3. Do you hire out any additional items?
Yes, here at Moo Moo we hire out additional items like:
Body Boards
Fishing rods
GPS
Snorkling gear
Tables and chairs
Solar shower
4. How does the solar shower work?
It is a 20L bladder that you leave in the sun to heat up. You then secure it to a tree and have a nice hot shower anywhere.
5. Do your campers have an Ipod connection?
Yes, the TV/DVD in the back of the van has an ipod connection. The drivers cabin does not have a ipod connection, you will have to bring you own ipod radio transmitter that will play songs through the radio.
6. Is bedding and living equipment included in my campervan?
Yes, the vans comes with everything you need. The Moo Moo Campers are fitted out with pillows, sheets, sleeping bags, cooking utensils, pots, pans, cups & cutlery!
7.How does the Bond/Excess on a rental vehicle work?
Each rental vehicle requires a Bond that is also the insurance excess for that vehicle. The amount of the Bond is decided by you, and must be done with a credit card. Your credit card is imprinted for the appropriate amount when you pick up the vehicle. If the vehicle is returned in good condition and a full tank of fuel, the Bond is then released. 8. Can I reduce the bond/excess on a Moo Moo Campervan?
Yes, we have 3 different options which you can choose from. Please see the insurance page for the Insurance Options. If you have any questions at all regarding the insurance options please call or email our Moo Moo staff as we will be able to answer all your questions!
9. Do you take the Bond/Excess out of my account?
No, the bond/excess is done by taking an imprint of your credit card.
10. Are your rates based on a daily or nightly rate?
Daily as it is based on a calendar day.
11.What type of fuel do the campers use?
All the campervans run on diesel. The station wagons run on petrol.
12.Do you have airport pickups and dropoffs?
Airport pickups and drop-offs are available depending on work load, please email for price. Most depots can be easily accessed by public transport.
If you're coming from Europe, you'll find our fuel prices are quite affordable. Fuel is currently around $1.30/litre in populated areas. In more remote areas, petrol prices do rise and they follow the laws of supply and demand. However, even in the most remote areas it's still about half price when compared to European prices.
14.What is the approx fuel consumption of your campers?
Our campervans use approx 10 Litres per 100kms, (subject to wind conditions and speed). Please see fuel calculator page for more details.
15. Can you do deals on hires over 30 days?

16. Are your campers Manual or Automatic Transmission?
All vehicles are Automatic for your driving pleasure.
17. How many people can travel in each vehicle?
Seat belts are mandatory for all passengers in Australia. The number of passengers depends on the number of seat belts - which depends on the vehicle. The number of passengers is indicated for each rental vehicle in the rental section of this website. Please see campas page for more info.
18. Do you have to have the car running to play DVDs?
No, the auxiliary battery runs the DVD, this battery will run down after 4-5 hours of DVD watching. It then charges automatically when you are driving.
19. Do I need a special license?
No, just a valid current driver's license is to be produced for everyone intending to drive the vehicle. State, overseas or international drivers licenses are acceptable. A translation of your license may be required in English for our staff to able to read.
20. Can I hire on my Provisional License?
Yes, as long as you have not lost your license within 5 years. You must also be over 18 years old.
21. How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle?
The minimum age for all drivers is 18, the maximum age is 75 years.
22. How can I pay for my rental?
All payments must be made in Australian dollars and we except cash, bank cheques, travellers cheques, efpos and credit cards.
23. Can baby seats be fitted into the Campers?
No, baby seats cannot be fitted.
24. Can we just pull over on the side of the road and camp?
Outside of towns and in country areas it is allowed, but because of local council laws you are not permitted to camp on the side of the road in towns. Australia has an extensive network of caravan parks in all major tourist centres and in most towns. They offer excellent recreation facilities and of course have superb shower and toilet amenities. They also have provision for you to plug the vehicle into electricity. There is ordinarily no need to book ahead, even in peak periods. The approximate cost is $15 to $30 a night.

25. What happens if I break down or have an issue with the van?
We have 24 hour roadside assistance available to Moo Moo customers.
